Take What You Want With Sylvia Browne at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City

Who is planning to come see Sylvia Browne at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City on Saturday? She’s been here before, but this time is special because this stop will be part of the Sylvia Browne 50th Anniversary Tour. Can you believe it?! Sylvia has been helping peeps all over the world understand their lives in more ways than one for 50 years now!

Not only does Sylvia have amazing psychic and paranormal abilities, connecting people with loved ones who have passed and helping them learn what their futures hold, she also uses her gifts to help those that need it most. She is known to assist in solving crime cases as well as finding missing children and so much more. Perhaps most importantly, she is a super cool lady because she agreed to an interview with Total AC Blog! Wha wha!

Read below to get inside Sylvia’s mind a bit. The mind of a psychic.

Sylvia Browne

TAC: How did you first discover you were psychic?

Sylvia Browne: When I was five years old, I was able to look at both of my great grandparents and knew when both of them were going to die. It wasn’t a pleasant way to be introduced to it. But see, my grandmother was a physic in Missouri and her mother was, and her mother’s mother was, so we go back about 300 years. So I think it’s both genetic and from God.

TAC: It has been stated that reincarnation is a central theme in your philosophies. Why is this?

Sylvia Browne: Yeah, that’s why I wrote the book Past Lives Of The Rich And Famous. I think God’s an equal opportunity employer. We get lots of chances to learn from God. That makes more sense than someone coming in and dying at three years-old or something. You know, that’s not fair.

TAC: Are different skills used for psychic readings opposed to when you act as a medium or do you draw from the same place for both?

Sylvia Browne: I draw from the same place. I’m sure it’s from God too. Whether I’m tranceing or healing, or giving a reading, I think it’s all from the same place.

TAC: You’ve written numerous books. One specifically that caught our attention is All Pets Go To Heaven. Is communicating with a pet different than communicating with a human spirit?

Sylvia Browne: Absolutely. It’s more telepathic. I wouldn’t want to go to Heaven if my pets weren’t there.

TAC: We would guess that being a psychic would affect how you live your life on a daily basis. What is your outlook on life and how do you live yours?

Sylvia Browne: I love life. I’ll be glad to go home to Heaven, but I love life. I love people and I want to help as many as I can. I think that’s what we’re here for is to be our brother’s keeper.

TAC: Are there any little tips you can give that anyone can do to help heal themselves spiritually?

Sylvia Browne: Try to be happy. Even if you’re not happy, act happy and eventually your brain will see you’re happy.

TAC: What do you like most about your job?

Sylvia Browne: Helping people and seeing that they did need help. That’s so satisfying.

TAC: How do you deal with skeptics and do you have any great stories of turning a nonbeliever into a believer?

Sylvia Browne: Oh, I don’t care about the skeptics. Everybody has skeptics. You have skeptics, I have skeptics. Not that long ago, I told a woman what her mother said to her after she died and her husband came up to the microphone where I answered questions and said ‘I never believed in this stuff before, but the way that you told my wife what her mother said, no one could have known it’. He said ‘you made a believer out of me.’ That was very satisfying.

TAC: What can your fans expect from your show at Harrah’s Resort on Saturday?

Sylvia Browne: Oh yeah. I can get through two to three hundred readings!

TAC: Are you able to tell us anything about the future of Atlantic City?

Sylvia Browne: Oh yeah. You’re not going to have any more horrors. That was enough. It will be back even more beautiful than it was.

That sounds good to us, but as Sylvia herself says, “Take with you what you want and leave the rest behind.” For the record though, she was quick to tell us to lay off the lactose and we’ve had stomach probs for years! Be sure to catch Sylvia Browne at Harrah’s Resort this Saturday (Rooms starting at $45 – check here for deals), January 12th at  9 p.m. Get your last minute tickets here and be sure to let us know if you get a reading during the show!
