Our Favorite Things At Waterfront Buffet At Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City

We’re on a buffet kick lately if you haven’t been able to tell, and this week our choice is the Waterfront Buffet at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. The Waterfront Buffet isn’t just your regular Joe kinda buffet. There are tons of reasons that make this buffet one of the best in Atlantic City, and we’re going to show you some of those now. Check out our favorite things in no particular order, below. (This is almost as exciting as Oprah’s).

1. Sushi

We don’t know too many buffets that offer sushi, do you? Waterfront does. Obviously. The selections on this particular day included spicy tuna, vegetable and california rolls.

2.Hibachi Station

This is an awesome way to make your own, special, kind of stir fry. Choose from an array of vegetables and noodles. Next add protein of some sort: Beef, chicken, shrimp or tofu. And finally pick your sauce: Mongolian BBQ, Spicy or Garlic. Made to perfection by this cute, little man behind the grill.

Waterfront Buffet also has other great Chinese cuisine selections to add onto your plate like Steamed Bok Choy, Edamame, Vegetable Buns, Chicken Dumplings, Fried Rice, White Rice, Chicken & Broccoli, Beef & String Beans, Vegetable Lo Mein and General Tso’s Chicken.

But we digress…

3. Give A Man A Fish And You Feed Him For A Day

Or maybe a couple days since this is the Waterfront Buffet, but anyway, that was just a fancy way to say that we love the fish presentation here. You get to see the little suckers rotating and cooking right in front of you!

Seafood offerings that night also included Basa, Seafood Newburg, Shrimp, Mussels Marinara and Steamed Clams. Cool beans. Or seafood. Whatever.

4. Dessert

Duh. When isn’t this our favorite? But here we have another rotating contraption (maybe we are just easily distracted?) full of CAKES! Carrot Cake, Cheesecake, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake, Rice Pudding, Strawberry Short Cake, Raspberry Cake,  you  name it!

Then of course there were the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, “no sugar added” treats, and a GELATO booth! Complete with various toppings and sauces. This was the most crowded stop of them all throughout the evening at Waterfront Buffet. Ya’ll really, really like gelato.

The worst place to eat! My sister and i were stay at Harrahs for my birthday. She decided to take me to The Waterfront Buffet for dinner. We got are food sat down and were talking and starting to eat, My sister all of a sudden looked at me with big eyes and says dont scream get your bag and get up now! So i instinctively look and on the wall that my table was against was a huge ROACH. I didnt scream i got up and a floor worker came over and she saw the bug and screamed ,which she got in trouble for, and asked us to wait right there while she finds us somewhere else to sit. I told her no thank you i couldn’t eat now. So she sent us to the Manager , who preceded to tell us she could’t give us a refund only relocate us to other seats! I explained i wouldn’t be able to eat and she got very offensive and refused to give us a refund. I then started to inform the people in line to come in why i wanted a refund, and only then did she want to give our money back. Which we took with no apology or anything. we will never , never eat there again and i inform anyone that goes down to AC not to eat there. Not because of the roach, because of the way they treat their customers!!

  2. I don’t know what Theresa Zambino is talking about! I go to the water front buffet all the time, place is spotless! Crew very courteous all the time! Food is great especially their Salmon on the grill, delicious! I am very fussy When it comes to food and especially cleanliness. Can wait to go back:)

  3. I think they are now closed during the week. Actually, I think most all casino buffets are closed during the week. Would like to know when they will reopen for weekday service
