Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City Goes BIG With Martorano’s Opening July 2014

Things are about to get BIG (and Italian) up in Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and that’s because Philly native, Steve Martorano, will be opening Martorano’s this July.

Martorano's Atlantic City 1

If you’ve ever been to that far-away place called Las Vegas, you may be familiar with this very establishment located at our sister property, Rio Las Vegas. Let us tell ya, this place is a hit there (as well as his other two locations in Florida). Fan favorite menu items include the Eggplant Stack, South Philly Cheesesteak, Rigatoni Sunday Pork Gravy, Bucatini Carbonara as well has his world-famous meatballs.

Here’s one in Steve’s popular Meatball Salad selection.

In fact, these meatballs have even been deemed the best in the world by popular celebs like Al Pacino and Jimmy Kimmel. Not too shabby.

“I was a big fan of Steve Martorano during my time in Vegas and cannot wait for him to bring his style and passion to Harrah’s Resort’s culinary family,” said Rick Mazer, Regional President of Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City“Martorano’s will be a restaurant devoted to classic Italian dishes; oversized meatballs smothered in red gravy will dominate the menu, but done in a manner that only Steve can.”

What Mr. Mazer means here is, like the title suggests, Steve does things BIG! Not only will you be able to always score amazing, authentic Italian cuisine at Martorano’s, you will also get an unbelievable party! The later it gets, the louder the music. The evening begins with the sweet sound of crooners like Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darrin, and ends complete with a dance for and DJs!

All of this combined is what makes Martorano’s the perfect spot for a guy or girls’ night out. Sound good? Make Martorano’s a big part of your Harrah’s Resort adventures starting this July!
